As a choreographer and director Joy creates works for film and dance theatre pieces that have reached international response. Her movement vocabulary carries many disciplines that have found a singular expression while she brings many cultures and traditions as a person.
She creates a sense of belonging as well as a pathway to the future.
Diversity is not a choice. It’s a natural position which is deeply rooted in her.
Following her internationally acclaimed solo BABAE (selected for Aerowaves 2020) , the award winning Piece OZ - THE MAGIC IN US and the commissioned ensemble piece UNDA (as part of ISADORA NOW produced by Viviana Durante Company), Joy’s body of work develops as she leads on the direction and production of collaborative cross-pollinated performances with an array of talented artists.
